World Gold
What would happen if there was a sudden influx of Gold to the world markets?
I write Science Fiction, In a current storyline, We can mine gold and other metals on asteroids and I was wondering how much gold the world markets could handle before it became really cheap.
This happened in history when Spain annexed South America. Eventually, the result was lower prices for gold followed by chronic inflation. The Spanish currency was based on the value of gold.
